 Johnsondene came to Castle Farm in September 2004, from Tina & Paul Dando of Kewstoke Highland Ponies.

We have had some super seasons of showing with JJ. He has taken part in many activities. Anything from hacking to hunting. He also enjoyed his showing & workers classes.

His biggest achievement has got to be winning Suffolk County '07 ridden, he was also only a few points off qualifying for HOYS in one of his last ever ridden classes.

He has now been retired from hard ridden work, this super pony gave it his all in everything he was asked to do. J has given us so much, we feel that he deserves to be a pony. He may well again make an appearance at a show or two, to give him a trip out.

Johnsondene has a very laid back, calm, kind temperament which he passes on to all of his stock.

He carries plenty of bone, and has superb bloodlines, along with excellent fertility. 

J covers in ~ hand, he is very much the gentleman with his mares.

He only takes a limited number of visiting mares per season.

Johnsondene is sire to many prize winning ponies, his stock are proving to be very successful in the show ring.

Tay had a super show season as a foal at foot, winning many classes and gaining the 'Corriegarth Cindy Cup' for the best foal at Malvern Highland Pony Show 2005. He has managed to continue the winning streak into all of his following shows so far. His latest achievement is taking 1st & Champion at Suffolk County Show 2008.

For a young stallion, Tay has a fantastic laid back outlook on life, and takes everything in his stride.

Tay served Chapelhill Rose in '07 and we are pleased to say that she produced a beautiful filly foal on 19th of June.

Tay will be taking a limited number of approved mares in 2009.

Tay is out and about this season, doing a few of the shows.
